Non Uniform Day on 25th July.

Fundraiser for Trailblazer Allstars.

During January and February Miss Cant (a PE student at Sheffield Hallam University) completed her teaching practise with us. She worked with every class in school. She gave up her free time to help Mrs Hill coach the gymnastics squad; and the Y5/6 squad won the Rotherham Final and they went on to compete in the South Yorkshire Finals. She also choreographed a cheerleading routine and the squad came second in the Rotherham Cheerleading final – this is an event that we have never competed in before.

Miss Cant is a member of Trailblazer Allstars  – a cheerleading squad who have been selected to compete in the World Cheerleading Competition in Florida next year.

As a Primary PE School Of Excellence we believe it is important to support our local athletes so we are having a ‘purple day’ to help raise money to donate to the squad to get them to Florida. Donations for coming in non-uniform, favourite outfits or purple will be appreciated.

Dates for your diary.

Break up for summer – Tuesday 25th July at 1.15pm.

Start back – Tuesday 5th September.

Our Y6s leave us on Friday 14th July and we wish them all the best. This means children from Foundation to Y5 will begin their transition to their new classes on Monday 17th July. They will register as normal in their current class before moving to their new classes. They will return to their original classes before home time so children will come out of the gate that they normally leave from.
