Friends of Thornhill who organise lots of events for school and raise money are looking for new parents to join them. Contact school for more information.

Cycling Proficiency.
Well done to the following children who recently completed Level 1 or 2 of Pedal Ready Cycle Training: Haider Ashiq, Derrie Scott, Daniel Gill, Mykail Yamin, Kieran Cartwright, Alicia Iqbal, Kayla Hopewell, and Ithshaam Shahnawaz.

Jolly Postman Week
We began our first week back with lots of reading and writing activities around “The Jolly Postman” which were shared in assembly on Friday. Also lots of children and staff came dressed as book characters. The following children won a book cover designing competition and received a copy of the book or a £5 book voucher: Lily Burton (Y1) and Mykail Yamin (Y6).

Summer Fayre – 15.6.13 – 12pm – 3pm.

Swinging Sixties
All three Year 5 and 6 classes had a great day out in Liverpool finding out about the Beatles and life in the 1960s. Thank you for your continued support.
