As part of the Y5/Y6 topic, all the children travelled back in time to the 1960’s by visiting the Beatles Museum in Liverpool.  While their, they toured the museum to discover what life was like when the Beatles became famous.  They also took part in a range of activities in the ‘Discovery Zone’ where they dressed up, listened to music from a ‘record player’, played music on a massive floor piano, coloured pictures in the pop art style of Andy Warhol and took part in a quiz about famous people and events in the 1960’s.
A few days later, we received a letter from the museum to say how amazing our pupils had all been.
