A big thank you to children, parents and staff for working together at the start and end of the school day to ensure everyone enters and leaves the school site safely. If you do come onto the school site at home time, please make sure you leave plenty of room for people to pass by safely particularly the area near the bottom of the steps and outside the hall. If you want to collect a KS2 child from the top of the steps, please let them know at the start of the day or let Mrs Wadsworth know at home time who is manning the top of the steps.

We are also coming to the time of year when many children will be getting colds and coughs. We realise this may make many of you anxious as these are also covid symptoms. The Government guidance is primary aged children are low risk so if you are unsure about whether to send your child to school or not please ring us. We are not health professionals but we can advise you what to do next.

Swimming in Year 4

This time of year, we are usually sending out information about swimming for Y4s. With the current pandemic we have asked the swimming pool for further clarification and will contact you shortly about what we are going to do.

Parentpay

If you have not received any texts from us since we started back at school, please see the school office so they can help you sort out signing up.

Similarly, if you have changed your phone number or address, please let the school office know as soon as possible so that we are able to contact you in the case of an emergency.

Lockdown learning

In the unfortunate event of any future lockdowns it would be helpful if you could let us know how easy it is for your children to access online learning and your thoughts about printed worksheets/online learning.  Please complete the questionnaire attached as soon as possible so we can make preparations to support future learning.

Applications for SMSAs (lunchtime supervisors) close at midday on Friday 11th September. After this (with your permission) we will keep your application on file for future vacancies.
