'Play On The Pitch' tournament

On Friday 16^th May, our year 3/4 boys football team represented Thornhill Primary School at the 'Play On The Pitch' tournament. This was a fantastic event that gave schools a chance to play on Rotherham United's professional football pitch at the New York Stadium.  After a morning of fun and games Thornhill's team were entered into the 'be united' league and after playing all our fixtures,  they ended the afternoon victorious after winning both their matches. They were awarded winning certificates and medals which was the icing on the cake of a terrific day out. Well done boys!
